Thought for the Day: Family

Alright, no pictures this time, but Benjamin and I were sitting on the ground this morning playing and I was singing to Ben.(I know scary) Were were listening to old hyms sung by modern day Avalon. We were listening to "How Great Thou Art," and I was telling Ben that hym was daddy's favorite. While I was sitting there I was doing a little reflecting,(I know even more scary) and I could picture some of my childhood. I remembered car rides in my grandpa's red Ford truck to school or drives up to my great grandparents house and I would often here my Grandpa singing or whistling these old hyms. Times like these remind us(at least me) of who we are, where we come from, and what we're going to do with what we have been given.) In the business I work, I so often see troubled people, broken families, unhappy people, lost, confused, without direction. I am so thankful for the life my family has paved for myself, the things they have gone through to provide the life I have, and the joy of knowing you come from a home built around love. It is such a blessing to have this and it is a promise I have made to my family. So many memories, and good times, my hope is that in the times that we live in Ben will have the same experiences and memories of his family as I do!

P.S. Leave a comment! Don't be shy!!! One day Ben will be able to read them!

P.S.S. HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!!!!
